The Happiest Place on Earth

We were happy to be able to go to Disney in October. We were able to meet up with one of Abby & Emily's "China sisters" Olivia while we were in Disney. We had a great time with them and the girls had so much fun with each other. Enjoy a couple pictures from our trip.

A busy September

Well, September was a pretty busy month for us. We had 4 birthdays and an anniversary. Emily had double hernia surgery on Sept 21. The next weekend we had two picnics. We went to the Eastern Christian Children's Retreat annual fair and Abby rode a pony for the first time. We went to fireworks that night and Abby watched fireworks for the first time. It's been a crazy month but we've had a lot of fun. We are looking forward to our trip to Florida on Oct 12th. We will be meeting up with one of the families we traveled to China with. The girls are very excited to be going to Disney with Olivia. Today is also our 2 year anniversary of "the phone call". The one that changed our lives. We were blessed with the news of our two little girls waiting for us in China. Thank God for His blessings.

We went to upstate NY to see Uncle Randy & Aunt Judy's property and have some fun.

We had a lot of fun riding ATV's!! (Don't worry...our moms go very slow)

We played with our cousins, and got to pick out some pumpkins (or punkins if you ask the girls)

We ended the day with roasted marshmallows by the bonfire. We had a great day!!

Down by the shore

We went down the shore on Sunday to meet up with the boys (aka their cousins) and of course their favorite aunt and uncle. We had a blast at the shore. Emily loved the ocean and had fun letting the waves crash on her. Abby loved playing in the sand with Austin. Both girls took turns with Uncle Randy in the ocean. This is our second year getting together at the beach with the boys...one that I hope we can continue each year. We all had a great time.
